Without thumbs, there would be no keyboards. After all, having opposable thumbs is what allowed us to evolve into tool-making creatures. So why is it that when our thumbs are capable of so much we only give them a spacebar to press? Unlike most keyboards, the ErgoDox 76 features clusters of six keys for each thumb, which can be programmed as space bars, enter keys, backspace keys, layer shifters, or anything else you can imagine.

Use lighter switches for your pinky fingers, modify your switches with lube or different springs, and explore the endless configuration options to your heart’s content.
